Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Apostel in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Wyrostek to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 9 minutes, Sverker Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wrocanka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sverker Danielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Alban Bolesta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sverker Danielsson. Sverker Danielsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alban Bolesta came out and tried to block the shot, but Sverker Danielsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Sverker Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alban Bolesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Kajetan Dawiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hamburg's zone, Sverker Danielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alban Bolesta came out of the goal and Sverker Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverker Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alban Bolesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Gustaw Ciszewski drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind FC Hamburg's goalkeeper. Alban Bolesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Danielsson in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alban Bolesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 played minutes FC Hamburg got a freekick which was hit by Markus Heimrath. Alban Bolesta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Danielsson to make the kick off. If Jan Apostel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alban Bolesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Danielsson in the 77th minute of the match.
