The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, FC Urzicuța's Kulabhusana Karabashlykov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Urzicuța's goalie and right to Amato Almaguer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Urzicuța's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Oscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Attar in the 16th minute of the match. Oscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Attar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Vilmar Heidemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilmar Heidemann got free with Sandu Vlaicu in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Cordoba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Urzicuța's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristi Chivu in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Made in Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Attar came free, but Oscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Verdejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Kulabhusana Karabashlykov made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Cordoba. Made in Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İrfan Attar to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oscar Cordoba. That made the score 1-5 after 86 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, İrfan Attar took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Oscar Cordoba to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when İrfan Attar got free with Oscar Cordoba in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
