In the 24th minute, John Wallander had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 24 minutes, Oswaldo Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the Timmernabben FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilson Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Jeppesen in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Rune Boström took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Nilson Dracena to make any attempt to save it. Börje Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Medeiros in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Boström in the 61st minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lars Jeppesen came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Timmernabben FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Jeppesen couldn't finish the play. The referee showed Lars Jeppesen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Jeppesen to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Ian Cerezo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Timmernabben FF's Börje Brummer. Börje Brummer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SE Palmeiras had played much better football throughout.
