In the 16th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Marquez to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, SAS's goalkeeper Cristiano Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Erik Wållander. Walter Asklöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cristiano Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as spikarna's Mårten Odén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Tepedino. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. Viktor Blomberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Mats Vassenius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. spikarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAS the free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Alfred Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Blomberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Nunes in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Glauco Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Blomberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Blomberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Nunes in the 87th minute of play. Viktor Blomberg made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Glauco Marquez sent off a good shot on target. SAS's Cristiano Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Asklöv in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over SAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than spikarna throughout the match.
