Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Castilho in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adnan Al Motar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hani Al Hashash could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jacinto Ávila made a huge save. The Coelho FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Coelho FC's Herminio Raebert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rodrigo Castilho sped through SALT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adnan Al Motar. Hani Al Hashash struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jacinto Ávila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALT. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Coelho FC's Herminio Raebert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adnan Al Motar. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. Salah Al Homaithe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SALT booed when Coelho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hussain Shadad during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 minutes, Almiro Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coelho FC and the SALT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77thth minute of the game Rodrigo Castilho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SALT's Adnan Al Motar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by SALT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Almiro Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Coelho FC's players had a chance to rest. Rodrigo Castilho succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Castilho in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adnan Al Motar saved SALT from getting behind.
