In the 8th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaueko Nanclares to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Renato Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 17th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Renato Pontes made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Momentum FC's Aurelio Venerando. Jeremias de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 21st minute of the match. Felix Beat was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Cafu Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cafu Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Momentum FC's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaueko Nanclares took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias de Azevedo. Jeremias de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 39th minute Hílton Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ defense, Gaueko Nanclares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias de Azevedo. The Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. After the first half Momentum FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hílton Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Renato Pontes in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Momentum FC's Arni Urb. In the 56th minute, Arni Urb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Renato Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaueko Nanclares. Gaueko Nanclares struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jeremias de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momentum FC. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Jeremias de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Beat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Tande in the 73rd minute of the match. Momentum FC's Felix Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Tepedino in the 84th minute of play. Gilmar Paraense's late challenge caught a Momentum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilmar Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. Gilmar Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Momentum FC's Carlos Auzqui was substituted for Gaueko Nanclares. After 90 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Paraense. 92 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Auzqui came free, but Jeremias de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Aguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias de Azevedo having to interfere.
