The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, La Zabaleta's Romulo Hibai got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Gaueko Nanclares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eske Aksel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Jerold in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of La Zabaleta booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Hibai. After 23 minutes of play, Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eske Aksel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Katia lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Katia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Arni Urb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Momentum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arni Urb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the La Zabaleta defense, Gaueko Nanclares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eske Aksel. The La Zabaleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eske Aksel should have stopped the shot. Eske Aksel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco De la Maza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Gilabert in the 37th minute. Gaueko Nanclares scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eske Aksel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Gilabert made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Momentum FC got a corner. La Zabaleta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arni Urb ran over to the corner to take the kick. Momentum FC's Arni Urb was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eske Aksel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 54th minute, Romulo Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gaueko Nanclares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The goalkeeper, Eske Aksel, was totally fooled by Momentum FC's Arni Urb, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Romulo Hibai made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Miguel Gilabert. In the 64th minute Gaueko Nanclares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eske Aksel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 64th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Eske Aksel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eske Aksel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Jerold's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Momentum FC's Silvano Gentza was substituted for Daniel Galeano. Romulo Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Eske Aksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 75th minute of the match. When Gaueko Nanclares fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momentum FC's protests and gave Gaueko Nanclares a yellow card for diving instead. Gaueko Nanclares kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gaueko Nanclares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eske Aksel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Gaspar Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86thth minute of the game Gaueko Nanclares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Zabaleta's Eske Aksel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Gaueko Nanclares sped through La Zabaleta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eske Aksel. A hard shot 92 in the game by Gaueko Nanclares from a close distance when the talented Eske Aksel managed to make a qualified save. La Zabaleta's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 94th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Eske Aksel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Gaueko Nanclares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Zabaleta's Eske Aksel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Markel in the 98th minute of play. Momentum FC played a much better game than La Zabaleta and deserved their victory. The La Zabaleta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
