Pablo Lizzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Victoriano Bernaldo made a huge save. Tranquilate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonatan Colon in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Lizzio got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Walter San Juan. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Guipuzkoa in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Celestino Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Medardo in the 89th minute of play. Victoriano Bernaldo was a little too slow when Pablo Lizzio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-5. The Tranquilate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tranquilate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
