Octavio Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, G A I S's Sixten Ståhlberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. Matthias Bern might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Bermund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Bern ran back to his position shaking his head. If Matthias Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the ASDFGHJKLÑ FC defense, Matthias Bern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Bermund. The ASDFGHJKLÑ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Bermund should have stopped the shot. If Matthias Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthias Bern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Bermund having to make a save. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Epifanio Bermund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ASDFGHJKLÑ FC from getting a goal against them. Matthias Bern in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanio Bermund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Bern to strike the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Bern in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Washington Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Epifanio Bermund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. G A I S's Matthias Bern got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Washington Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute Matthias Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Matthias Bern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Bermund was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 87 minutes into the match, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Marinho came free, but Epifanio Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Matthias Bern left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. ASDFGHJKLÑ FC's Octavio Santo got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Octavio Santo off the ground. In the 94th match minute, ASDFGHJKLÑ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Santo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the G A I S players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
