The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Silesia Bohumín's Pavel Fröhlich saw an opening behind the goalie Yánez Aldaeta in the 81stth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Yánez Aldaeta with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Pavel Fröhlich took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Yánez Aldaeta to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, FC Silesia Bohumín's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Gutiev came free, but Vincenc Ehrenberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Bartolomé Matheus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Silesia Bohumín the free kick. FC Silesia Bohumín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
