Martin Tudoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kudret Tüzer got free with Benne Benneborg in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Polkoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Thunderstorm Riders's Aureliusz Polkoski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Martin Tudoran made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Tudoran however managed to control. In the 21st minute, Jerzy Mielak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Benne Benneborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Northland Vikings defense, Konrad Resel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benne Benneborg. The Northland Vikings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benne Benneborg should have stopped the shot. After 32 minutes of play, Northland Vikings's Ture Waller made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damazy Kensicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Aureliusz Polkoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Waller in the 36th minute of play. Benne Benneborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Polkoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Witold Glapiak got a free kick in the 44th minute. Koti Kot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Benne Benneborg made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ture Waller to strike the kick off in the second half. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koti Kot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ture Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Allgöwer in the 72nd minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Tüzer in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Tüzer came free, but Benne Benneborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Konrad Resel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 88thth minute of the game Gao Peng Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thunderstorm Riders's Damazy Kensicki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Resel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Northland Vikings's zone, Koti Kot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benne Benneborg came out of the goal and Koti Kot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gao Peng Ran might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damazy Kensicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gao Peng Ran ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Gao Peng Ran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damazy Kensicki. That made the score 4-2 in the 95 minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thunderstorm Riders had played much better football throughout.
