In the 5th match minute, Beckham23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Cardona to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Oğuz Efe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Merlot went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sotiris Alexandropoulos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Timo Courtois made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Erubiel Fraco sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Don Merlot managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSV Ulm 1846's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Merlot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Oğuz Efe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Alberigo Sessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Beckham23's David Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don Merlot in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Oğuz Efe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SSV Ulm 1846's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Lilja in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Delmiro Jayvier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beckham23's Mehmet Oğuz Efe did a great save. After some careless play in the Beckham23 defense, Delmiro Jayvier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Oğuz Efe. The Beckham23 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Oğuz Efe should have stopped the shot. Alberigo Sessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Oğuz Efe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Timo Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Kapinos in the 32nd minute. David Bernad struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Timo Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beckham23. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 36th minute of play forced Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bernad in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timo Courtois saved SSV Ulm 1846 from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Beckham23's Timo Courtois threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Bernad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd minute Alberigo Sessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Oğuz Efe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Sessa in the 44th minute of play forced Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by David Bernad from a close distance when the talented Timo Courtois managed to make a qualified save. SSV Ulm 1846's players were relieved. After 49 minutes SSV Ulm 1846's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erubiel Fraco who took care of the corner kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Don Merlot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Don Merlot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don Merlot got free with Mehmet Oğuz Efe in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Sessa in the 60th minute of play forced Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberigo Sessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Cardona hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Alberigo Sessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mehmet Oğuz Efe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beckham23 made a substitution. Ignacio Hodei replaced Bogdan Kapinos. In the 74th minute of the match, Don Merlot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Oğuz Efe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 75th minute Martin Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, SSV Ulm 1846's Alberigo Sessa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mehmet Oğuz Efe. Mehmet Oğuz Efe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 84th minute of play forced Beckham23's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Efe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, 高梁辉 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SSV Ulm 1846 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SSV Ulm 1846 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
