The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Villanueva in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Jonatan Gerdberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Yánez Aldaeta got control of the ball when Ture Waller tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Club Atlético Univ. UASD got a freekick which was hit by Willy Iglesias. In the 38th minute Hanley Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanley Morrison in the 38th minute of play. Ture Waller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yánez Aldaeta having to make a save. Ture Waller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yánez Aldaeta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ralf Allgöwer kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match, Ture Waller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yánez Aldaeta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Benne Benneborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Omar Palma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Benne Benneborg made a huge save. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg got control of the ball when Casimiro Villanueva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yánez Aldaeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Waller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Waller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yánez Aldaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ture Waller in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yánez Aldaeta saved Club Atlético Univ. UASD from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Villanueva came free, but Benne Benneborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Waller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yánez Aldaeta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Northland Vikings's Ture Lundgren was substituted for Andreas Falk. When Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Univ. UASD's goalie prevented a goal. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Palma in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Antonio Čolak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Northland Vikings's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
