FPRMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Wu Qi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Augusto Neto. Pedro Augusto Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pedro Augusto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Skytt in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Allan Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Wu Qi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Augusto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Qi in the 25th minute of play. Allan Bivall made a great header on Samurai's corner, it was just that Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes in the game Hernán Grana did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marcus Skytt. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Steve Rogers got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Allan Bivall hit a great ball. Marcos de Barros made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai's Abram Cadabra. After the first half Samurai were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wu Qi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wu Qi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai's supporters rose to their feet, but Wu Qi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wu Qi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Augusto Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Wu Qi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Ramon Raymundo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Samurai's Timmy Henriksson was substituted for Marcus Skytt. Esbjörn Hultstrand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Augusto Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Esbjörn Hultstrand slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Esbjörn Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Amado Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 74th minute of play. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Øyvind Gilje was substituted for Donato Tesone. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Barros in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Esbjörn Hultstrand hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 85th minute of play forced Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Pimenta in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a corner. Samurai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Steve Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Steve Rogers to fire away a dangerous shot which Vince Di Cola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Samurai supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Samurai would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
