Udinese booed when Cylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. 沈然弘 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when 白远延 came free, but Amos Maurizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 林城谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Grossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 林城谦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Grossi in the 27th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Eraldo Motta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 林城谦. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. Arrigo Tana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. 林城谦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

A.S. Udinese's Fortunato Leggeri was substituted for Ferenc Kocsis. Olof Kjellkvist's late challenge caught a Cylon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Kjellkvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cylon booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.S. Udinese's Amos Maurizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 沈迪志 in the 82nd minute of play. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Amos Maurizi as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.S. Udinese had won after a very even match.
