Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Ahlberg to make the kick off. Arnaldo de Barros's late challenge caught a StraX Xenon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arman Lundström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th match minute, Vasco Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vasco Mineiro FC defense, Adam Ahlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Moura. The Vasco Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Moura should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Adam Ahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Moura was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Anders Sjöberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Moura. Eduardo Moura was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Adam Ahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Ahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 86th minute, Vasco Mineiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anders Sjöberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Vasco Mineiro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching StraX Xenon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for StraX Xenon FC.
