Niclas Tinglöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasco Mineiro FC's Eduardo Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qu Liang in the 38th minute of play. Eduardo Moura came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Söderbröder's Niclas Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Niclas Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Vasco Mineiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Söderbröder were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheus Baltazar to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Vasco Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo de Barros. 59 minutes into the match, Matheus Baltazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Moura. Vasco Mineiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Baltazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 62 minutes into the game, Juan da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco Mineiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Söderbröder the free kick. After 62 played minutes Vasco Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan da Cunha. If Qu Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Söderbröder's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Pernambucano came free, but Björn Browall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio de Almeida during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Qu Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Moura having to interfere. A collision led to Söderbröder getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Valentin Åström hit a great ball. When Niclas Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Söderbröder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. Björn Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Pernambucano in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Edu Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Fuat Tanju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
