Israel Brás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nemesio Johans. Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Yo Soy Tu Padre booed when Lofi Girl Portimao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Lázaro Eyague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Lázaro Eyague sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georges-Philippe Kissinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Calleri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lofi Girl Portimao's Georges-Philippe Kissinger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Lofi Girl Portimao from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lofi Girl Portimao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Eyague was slow to take the kick. During this time Yo Soy Tu Padre's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the game, Lofi Girl Portimao's Nuno Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nemesio Johans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathan Calleri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Georges-Philippe Kissinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lofi Girl Portimao's Januário Sá got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Piotr Gierlach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yo Soy Tu Padre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piotr Gierlach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Nuno Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Calleri got free with Georges-Philippe Kissinger in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nemesio Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Calleri to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Israel Brás sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Johans skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Porto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Piotr Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Melo got free with Nemesio Johans in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Jonathan Calleri made a precise shot to the right of Georges-Philippe Kissinger. Lofi Girl Portimao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Israel Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Porto in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Johans saved Yo Soy Tu Padre from getting behind. Georges-Philippe Kissinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Calleri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Lázaro Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges-Philippe Kissinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Pires's late challenge caught a Yo Soy Tu Padre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Pires helped the player get up and apologised. Xavier Pires hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Carlos Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Nuno Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Johans was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Yo Soy Tu Padre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
