The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in O MOTIVO ⚽'s zone, Rocco Chatigny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Hermes came out of the goal and Rocco Chatigny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erivaldo Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xesus Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bertoni in the 11th minute of play forced NieETIkalni Lebork's goalkeeper Hugon Piechna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Hieronim Watarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erivaldo Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Watarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Penha in the 27th minute of play forced NieETIkalni Lebork's goalkeeper Hugon Piechna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hieronim Watarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hieronim Watarz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugon Piechna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Baptista in the 32nd minute of play. Hieronim Watarz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erivaldo Hermes having to make a save. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Erivaldo Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Erivaldo Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hieronim Watarz. In the 40th minute, Yan Penha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the NieETIkalni Lebork defense, Daniel Bertoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Piechna. The NieETIkalni Lebork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Piechna should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute Yan Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Piechna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yan Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Yan Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Piechna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the NieETIkalni Lebork defense, Daniel Bertoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Piechna. The NieETIkalni Lebork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Piechna should have stopped the shot. NieETIkalni Lebork's Roch Konieczny was substituted for Wincenty Zagrobelny. Erivaldo Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hieronim Watarz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Erivaldo Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Watarz in the 73rd minute of play. If Hieronim Watarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Penha in the 90th minute of play forced NieETIkalni Lebork's goalkeeper Hugon Piechna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dito Maranhense hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Roch Konieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over O MOTIVO ⚽ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NieETIkalni Lebork throughout the match.
