Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Murillo in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Penha in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Yan Penha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Penha in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Adolfo Bautista's late challenge caught a O MOTIVO ⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Goiano scored 0-5 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Murillo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Inter MIAMI defense, Emili Lean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. The Inter MIAMI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Cortez should have stopped the shot. In the 37thth minute of the game Andrew Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Andrew Murillo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Cortez. Mariano Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Penha in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nereo Artal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Artal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Hartz to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrew Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Mariano Cortez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Andrew Murillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Mariano Cortez however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute Daniel Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew Murillos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Mariano Cortez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Andrew Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Penha in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Andrew Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Cortez. Mariano Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Andrew Murillo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 69th playminute. Yan Penha succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-13. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Caetano Pinho was substituted for Mazinho Hermes. After 80 minutes, Yan Penha made it 0-14 with a short kick to the right side. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Mariano Cortez managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when O MOTIVO ⚽'s Andrew Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andrew Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Mariano Cortez made a huge save. Andrew Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrew Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Daniel Bertoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Inter MIAMI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. O MOTIVO ⚽ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
