Mariano Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbigniew Buczko went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez got control of the ball when Zbigniew Buczko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Buczko scored 4-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Zbigniew Buczko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 20th match minute, Inter MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Bautista to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Zbigniew Buczko made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Heide in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Mateusz Heide reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Cortez. The goal made the score 9-0. In the 35th minute, Real Madrid's Zbigniew Buczko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 10-0. Barnaba Dudzik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mariano Cortez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Buczko in the 40th minute of play forced Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Inter MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Artal to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Buczko to make the kick off. Mariano Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Dudzik, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Mariano Cortez came out of the goal and Zbigniew Buczko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Liu Ke Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Cortez. Inter MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liu Ke Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Mariano Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Buczko, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mariano Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Cortez came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid's Zbigniew Buczko. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Buczko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 18-0. After 86 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Liu Ke Yu. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Buczko in the 89th minute of the match. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Buczko in the 90th minute of play.
