Rúben Trigueiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Costa in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rúben Trigueiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Los Podridos ll fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Los Podridos ll's Ulises Costa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Carlos Messi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rúben Trigueiro made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fulgencio Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Juan Carlos Messi took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Rúben Trigueiro to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Rúben Trigueiro managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Los Podridos ll's Ulises Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the game, Los Podridos ll's Fulgencio Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rúben Trigueiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Roberto Ceresso made a kick off. Rúben Trigueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ulises Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragostea E.C's Rúben Trigueiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Podridos ll's Benedicto Sancho was substituted for Fulgencio Bilintx.
