The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Kåre Käcker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's Kåre Käcker broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Vasco Mineiro FC's André Luiz Pernambucano in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Värdsholmen's goalie prevented a goal. Eduardo Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Åkesson in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Vasco Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo de Barros. 19 minutes into the game, Evert Åkesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eduardo Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Uggla in the 21st minute of play forced Vasco Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Evert Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Moura came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Evert Åkesson. But to his dismay, Evert Åkesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Vasco Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Flávio Sabóia hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Evert Åkesson notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Vasco Mineiro FC's Eduardo Moura. Eduardo Moura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eduardo Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

In the 50th minute, Ludwig Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55th play minutes Evert Åkesson shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Eduardo Moura and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Åkesson in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Moura saved Vasco Mineiro FC from getting behind. Birger Ahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Moura having to interfere. 0-7 became the score in the 62nd minute when Ludwig Magnusson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Vasco Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Willian Proença hit a great ball. Torgny Gullesson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Vasco Mineiro FC's Eduardo Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Magnusson in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ludwig Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Arnaldo de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Evert Åkesson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Eduardo Moura 83 minutes into the match. Eduardo Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Magnusson in the 87th minute. Eduardo Moura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludwig Magnusson went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Ludwig Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Eduardo Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
