An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Dolfos in the 18th minute of play forced Independente FC's goalkeeper Rúben Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ciro Leão hit a great ball. The wind increased when Cecilio Sugar made the kick off in the second half. Genílson Pitta hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Sugar got free with Rúben Trigueiro in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Trigueiro having to interfere. After 60 played minutes, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Bartolo Paublo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rúben Trigueiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BAC Belgrano de Cba reached it. After 61 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Pitta. Cecilio Sugar took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rúben Trigueiro. Rúben Trigueiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rúben Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Sugar in the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Omar Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Trigueiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Roldanillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rúben Trigueiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Independente FC's Rúben Trigueiro got control of the ball when Cecilio Sugar tried to sneak it across the goal line. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Bartolo Paublo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rúben Trigueiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Léo da Fonseca hit a great ball. The Independente FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BAC Belgrano de Cba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
