The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Aureliano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Clis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 15 played minutes Imperio Académico got a freekick which was hit by Carl Beck. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aureliano Karlo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Adrian Clis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Vidal in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Aureliano Karlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Imperio Académico getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Hilario Tab hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 37th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Sugoi thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Adrian Clis, a very annoying self made goal in the 39th minute which led to 0-3. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Vidal in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Vidal made a kick off. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imperio Académico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Aureliano Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Clis, making the score, 0-4. Aureliano Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 56th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Llorienzo in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Imperio Académico were awarded a corner. Carl Beck went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Marcelino Quexal advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 59th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Aureliano Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Académico's Ismael Jerrold. But to his dismay, Ismael Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Imperio Académico's Amador Igon was substituted for Luciano Vidal. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Igon in the 70th minute of play. Aureliano Karlo scored 2-5 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Clis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AFC FUSION's Mari Balotelli was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. Adrian Clis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mari Balotelli went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Mari Balotelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Clis. Imperio Académico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mari Balotelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Paul Vase hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC FUSION eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
