After 20 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Roland Kolacki. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Palban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Jose Palban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Francis went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
