Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Patrone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Primeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Defensores de Lombroso's Valentín Barco was substituted for Lucio Cordarrol. Denis Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Borrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matías Patrone. Los Delfines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel-Andrés Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Francisco Ascencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Denis Paulin made a huge save. Defensores de Lombroso were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Delfines for a fine match.
