With a little luck, Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho got control of the ball when Marcelino Quexal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Phelipe in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Clis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elvio Pacho had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Luciano Vidal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 20thth minute of the game Luciano Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ismael Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Pacho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Marcelino Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imperio Académico's protests and gave Marcelino Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Imperio Académico getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcelino Quexal hit a great ball. Elvio Pacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Jerrold in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Teobaldo Phelipe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cha Fe FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Augusto Jurdan hit a great ball. If Alfredo Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Elvio Pacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charilaos Bogdanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Pacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Llorienzo in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when Cha Fe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Vidal came free, but Elvio Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Imperio Académico were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Cha Fe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carl Beck took the corner. Imperio Académico had played much better football throughout.
