Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Clis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Jerrold in the 6th minute of play. After 7 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Otero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 9th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Belo Alvarez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis. Adrian Clis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Jerrold in the 19th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Tab in the 20th minute of play. Adrian Clis had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Erlantz Bermejo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlantz Bermejo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Clis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hilario Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Vidal in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Vidal came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Luciano Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Imperio Académico got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Luciano Vidal made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Jerrold. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Vidal in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Imperio Académico booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Vadillos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arcadio Ramiréz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, A.D. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imperio Académico reached it. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erlantz Bermejo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Adrian Clis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón. 1-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Amador Igon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adrian Clis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlantz Bermejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Igon in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. In the 95thth minute of the game Amador Igon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Imperio Académico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
