Marco Erauso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 26th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Denis Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Erauso in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Erauso came free, but Denis Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Valentín Barco replaced Lucio Cordarrol. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mitchel Bakker hit a great ball. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Sauveur struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Amauri Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. Defensores de Lombroso's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
