Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Karlo scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurino Serena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Belo Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aureliano Karlo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Karlo couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 38th minute of play. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 39th minute of the match. Erlantz Bermejo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Roberto Eztebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belo Alvarez made a kick off. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. Roberto Eztebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esteban Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Aureliano Karlo took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Maurino Serena to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Beckham in the 71st minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
