Adrian Clis had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Nereo Acosta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Clis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alcorcón players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
