The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Topolski during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iwan Hryc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Tomas Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Asserlindh in the 11th minute of play. Iwan Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Brummer in the 13th minute of play. Pelle Smedfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Iwan Hryc made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, StraX Xenon FC's Tomas Asserlindh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Hryc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Torbjörn Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zula Oryl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Oryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see StraX Xenon FC's Ulrik Göransson in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Iwan Hryc made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jonas Hellqvist sent off a good shot on target. Iwan Hryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Brummer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Asserlindh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Iwan Hryc made a huge save. Joga Bonito's Iwan Hryc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Joga Bonito from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Hellqvist got free with Iwan Hryc in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Hryc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pelle Smedfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Iwan Hryc made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucjan Kasperowicz made a kick off. Joga Bonito's Iwan Hryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Asserlindh in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Asserlindh in the 65th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Iwan Hryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Jonas Hellqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Hryc. Joga Bonito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Hellqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Brummer in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Hryc saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. In the 71st minute Pelle Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Göransson came free, but Iwan Hryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Brummer took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Hryc. Iwan Hryc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Joga Bonito's Iwan Hryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Hellqvist in the 80th minute of play. Mattias Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Zbikowski in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Smedfeldt in the 83rd minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Iwan Hryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Zbikowski to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Hryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Brummer in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match StraX Xenon FC got a corner. Joga Bonito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Otto Axelsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led StraX Xenon FC's Otto Axelsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Hryc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute Torbjörn Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Hryc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, StraX Xenon FC's Pelle Smedfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Hryc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Hellqvist in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Hryc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Artur Topolski. When the referee ended the match the StraX Xenon FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
