Georges-Philippe Kissinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With his leg Georges-Philippe Kissinger managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Ilulea FC's Joaquin Gumaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonatan Benino might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georges-Philippe Kissinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Benino ran back to his position shaking his head. Georges-Philippe Kissinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Gumaro in the 18th minute. 22 minutes in the game, Viktor Häger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Georges-Philippe Kissinger having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lofi Girl Portimao's Hilário lago got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute Gaston Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges-Philippe Kissinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Jerrald was slow to take the kick. During this time Ilulea FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Evaristo Otoniel got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Ilulea FC's Viktor Häger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Georges-Philippe Kissinger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Lofi Girl Portimao's Georges-Philippe Kissinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Gumaro in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lofi Girl Portimao's zone, Joaquin Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georges-Philippe Kissinger came out of the goal and Joaquin Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gumaro scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georges-Philippe Kissinger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geronimo Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Januário Sá took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anselmo Feliz. Ilulea FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ilulea FC's Joaquin Gumaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georges-Philippe Kissinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ilulea FC booed when Lofi Girl Portimao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball.
