Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ubaldo Hartz started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Benino in the 2nd minute of play forced Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Joaquin Gumaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mariano Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gumaro took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Cortez. Mariano Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 10th minute, Joaquin Gumaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ilulea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Joaquin Gumaro put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Cortez. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Gumaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Cortez was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Joaquin Gumaro sped through Inter MIAMI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Benino in the 22nd minute of the match. Mariano Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Jerrald succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Hartz got free with Anselmo Feliz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Gumaro in the 31st minute of play forced Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Gumaro in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Joaquin Gumaro in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ubaldo Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Feliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Evaristo Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Jonatan Benino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Cortez. Inter MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Benino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Gumaro in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Joaquin Gumaro sped through Inter MIAMI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.
With a little luck, Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez got control of the ball when Jonatan Benino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Joaquin Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilulea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Cortez was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Joaquin Gumaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquin Gumaro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Joaquin Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mariano Cortez made a huge save. In the 68th minute Viktor Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Joaquin Gumaro put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Cortez. After a rather tough play, Inter MIAMI's Artemio Rik got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Joaquin Gumaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Cortez. Inter MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Gumaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Joaquin Gumaro had several of the Inter MIAMI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-14 score and a disappointed Mariano Cortez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joaquin Gumaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Gumaro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Gumaro came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Gumaro in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Benino. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Häger in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Viktor Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Gumaro came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joaquin Gumaro in the 94th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Mariano Cortez kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-16 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the match was over Ilulea FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter MIAMI throughout the match.
