Victor Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Etxekopar in the 16th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Inocencio Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the Real Còrdoba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Etxekopar. Martin Jerold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Martin Jerold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Lider having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Cordeiro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jerold in the 50th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Léo Messis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matias Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
