In the 9th minute, Waldir Matorin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sylwester Szkaradek. The goal made the score 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Sylwester Szkaradek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sylwester Szkaradek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dida Guimarães in the 13th minute. Oswaldo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sylwester Szkaradek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Emili Lean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Szkaradek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Mazinho Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sylwester Szkaradek skillfully saved the ball. Erivaldo Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Kolbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, one of O MOTIVO ⚽:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for O MOTIVO ⚽. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Joga Bonito. Damazy Wos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erivaldo Hermes. 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Zbikowski came free, but Erivaldo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Radomir Ciszewski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Mazinho Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Szkaradek came out of the goal and Mazinho Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswaldo Rosa made a kick off. Oswaldo Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylwester Szkaradek having to make a save. Sylwester Szkaradek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Matorin in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Wos came free, but Erivaldo Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Hermes in the 58th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Sylwester Szkaradek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Mazinho Hermes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Joga Bonito's Sylwester Szkaradek did a great save. Dida Guimarães took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Szkaradek. Sylwester Szkaradek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Oswaldo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Szkaradek having to interfere. Sylwester Szkaradek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emili Lean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emili Lean in the 69th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Sylwester Szkaradek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Hermes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaw Kolbert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. If Gustaw Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dida Guimarães in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Szkaradek saved Joga Bonito from getting behind. Erivaldo Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Literski went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Oswaldo Rosa got a free kick in the 87th minute. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Herbert Literski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emili Lean in the 94th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Sylwester Szkaradek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Kolbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Hermes made a huge save. The Joga Bonito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
