The tension between the Inter MIAMI and the StraX Xenon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Brummer in the 6th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Torbjörn Brummer sped through Inter MIAMI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. 11 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Brummer came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Brummer in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Brummer in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Cortez saved Inter MIAMI from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Torbjörn Brummer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StraX Xenon FC and the Inter MIAMI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to StraX Xenon FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Torbjörn Brummer hit a great ball. Ubaldo Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Olofsson having to interfere. Mariano Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Brummer's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Mattias Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Etxeberri in the 20th minute of the match. Inter MIAMI were furious when Robustiano Dodorol was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Inter MIAMI's Robustiano Dodorol got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Otto Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Artemio Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Brummer came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Hellqvist's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Torbjörn Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Torbjörn Brummer succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Hellqvist in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Mariano Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Brummer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Torbjörn Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half StraX Xenon FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Torbjörn Brummer made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Asserlindh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Jonas Hellqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. StraX Xenon FC's Torbjörn Brummer got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez got control of the ball when Jonas Hellqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Silvio Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. StraX Xenon FC's Otto Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Hellqvist. Jonas Hellqvists short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Mariano Cortez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 64 in the game by Jonas Hellqvist from a close distance when the talented Mariano Cortez managed to make a qualified save. Inter MIAMI's players were relieved. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Inter MIAMI from getting a goal against them. Mariano Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Asserlindh in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Hellqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariano Cortez. That made the score 0-7 in the 75 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Asserlindh came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. 89 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Asserlindh came free, but Mariano Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Smedfeldt. 92 minutes into the match, Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Hellqvist. StraX Xenon FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
