Primitivo Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Borges in the 24th minute of play. Domingos Amaya's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio César firmly grabbed it by the left post. Primitivo Sadurni came out of the goal and Cássio Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Notts County BR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yo Soy Tu Padre throughout the match.
