In the 11th match minute, Toronto United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk Banks to maneuver through the defense. Toronto United's William Nance played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matey Dachevski in the 12th minute of play. Boris Nenkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but William Nance made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Leslie to make the kick off. Matey Dachevski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Nance having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Nenkov in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Nance prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 52nd minute, Toronto United's Rolf Leslie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanimir Dragnev. Stanimir Dragnev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 58 minutes into the match, Stanislav Angelov notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Toronto United's William Nance. William Nance was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VN Keleler's Andon Hristovski was substituted for Matey Dachevski. Toronto United's William Nance played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Angelov in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andon Hristovski in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Nance saved Toronto United from getting behind. The supporters of Toronto United booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andon Hristovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Winfred Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Nance made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Angelov in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Stanislav Angelov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Nance. Toronto United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislav Angelov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Daniel Dragnev kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goalkeeper Stanimir Dragnev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Winfred Varela.
