In the 14th minute Candido Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Cayo's late challenge caught a Jataiense Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Cayo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Joaquin Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nino Maldini struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gerardo Elia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jataiense Futebol Clube. Gerardo Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Pesquera hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Cecilio Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sem Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gaztea in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Yevgen Kalashnikov made the kick off in the second half. Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Futsal from getting a goal against them. Candido Urbes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Gerardo Elia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th match minute, Chacarita Futsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Quintan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Nicolás Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Castillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Urbes in the 62nd minute of play forced Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Gerardo Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sem Titulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yevgen Kalashnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chacarita Futsal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luizão Pesquera was slow to take the kick. During this time Jataiense Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolás Castillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerardo Elia. That made the score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Cerezo was substituted for Meta Noia. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Charly Fernández replaced Jesus Berbiz. Gerardo Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Yevgen Kalashnikov. Jataiense Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Chacarita Futsal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luizão Pesquera took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luizão Pesquera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerardo Elia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Candido Urbes in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gerardo Elia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Yevgen Kalashnikov came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yevgen Kalashnikov couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia got control of the ball when Nicolás Castillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Elia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nino Maldini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jataiense Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
