After 40 minutes of play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Luís Gustavo Messias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Peralta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 45th minute of play. Candido Urbes charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Urbes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Urbes came free, but Sergio Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Luizão Pesquera got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Orlando Mendoza fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo de San Blás's protests and gave Orlando Mendoza a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the game, Nicolás Castillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Sergio Peralta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flamengo de San Blás's Sergio Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Gulak in the 64th minute of play. Sergio Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Gulak in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Urbes in the 72nd minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Sergio Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Cerezo was substituted for Meta Noia. In the 75th minute of the match Jataiense Futebol Clube got a corner. Flamengo de San Blás's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luizão Pesquera ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jataiense Futebol Clube's Luizão Pesquera to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Peralta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 77 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Mendoza. Nicolás Castillo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Peralta. Sergio Peralta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Sem Titulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaggelos Kalogeratos in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Gualter Gulak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Peralta. Flamengo de San Blás's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Gulak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 93rd match minute, Flamengo de San Blás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Mendoza to maneuver through the defense. Candido Urbes might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Peralta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Urbes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Urbes in the 95th minute of play forced Flamengo de San Blás's goalkeeper Sergio Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Gulak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flamengo de San Blás players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jataiense Futebol Clube.
