In a very dangerous position, a player in Vejbystrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Vejbystrand's Sven-Ove Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sayvion in the 43rd minute of play. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Herrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Sven-Ove Magnusson was a little too slow when Froilan Arnas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-11. LegionArgentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
