The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Brena during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, one of Jataiense Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jataiense Futebol Clube. The referee gave Viseu United a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valter Bentes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jataiense Futebol Clube's Sem Titulescu. 0-1. Sem Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Salazar in the 18th minute of play. Ziemowit Gdowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Urbes came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Caetano could save by the left post. Sem Titulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Moreira in the 27th minute of the match. Jorge Caetano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Urbes in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match, Amado Salazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sem Titulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Valter Bentes hit a great ball. If Candido Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Candido Urbes made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Caetano. Viseu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 65 played minutes Ziemowit Gdowski rounded Jataiense Futebol Clube's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jataiense Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sem Titulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sem Titulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Salazar in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Gdowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Sem Titulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leandro Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jataiense Futebol Clube defense, Amado Salazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sem Titulescu. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sem Titulescu should have stopped the shot. Valter Bentes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sem Titulescu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Viseu United's Amado Salazar. But to his dismay, Amado Salazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Luizão Pesquera kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Salazar came free, but Sem Titulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Viseu United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
