If Åke Röd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Gabino hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chacarita Futsal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Marcos Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 13 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Röd came free, but Saul Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Evaristo Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaspar Berriotxoa hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Gerardo Elia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by György Kósa. 26 minutes into the match, Froilan Arnas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerardo Elia, 1-0. Froilan Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gerardo Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, György Kósa managed to get in a good position for a shot. LegionArgentina's supporters rose to their feet, but György Kósa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Valentin Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Åke Röd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Osoitz was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Perez in the 42nd minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Röd in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Åke Röd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Saul Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Arnaldo Gabino made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute György Kósa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Gabino came free, but Gerardo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Cayo. 59 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Gabino came free, but Gerardo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Froilan Arnas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LegionArgentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when György Kósa came free, but Gerardo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Osoitz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Evaristo Perez sent off a good shot on target. When Åke Röd came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Röd couldn't finish the play. If Marcos Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Gabino in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Elia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 91 in the game by Evaristo Perez from a close distance when the talented Saul Osoitz managed to make a qualified save. LegionArgentina's players were relieved. Froilan Arnas struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gerardo Elia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LegionArgentina. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
