With a little luck, Purple Talents's Iker Carabajal got control of the ball when Gaspar Moita tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santiago Koffidis made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jordy Sustens however managed to control. A collision led to Viseu United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Viseu United's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristiaan Van den Haute in the 90th minute of play. Ziemowit Gdowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Carabajal having to make a save. Iker Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 98th minute, Ziemowit Gdowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Carabajal was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Viseu United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
