The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saul Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sem Titulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. György Kósa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sem Titulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LegionArgentina. Arnaldo Gabino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Sem Titulescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Candido Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Jataiense Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Urbes couldn't finish the play. Saul Osoitz came out of the goal and Candido Urbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Osoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Urbes went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the game, Golaki Goiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saul Osoitz. Golaki Goiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The LegionArgentina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jataiense Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Jataiense Futebol Clube.
