The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 34th minute, Åke Röd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Vejbystrand defense, Lothar Matthäus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Åke Kristiansson. The Vejbystrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Åke Kristiansson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Valentin Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita Futsal's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Kristiansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Chacarita Futsal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birger Hammarbäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Åke Kristiansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Armando Navarro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. In the 54th minute, Åke Röd made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Åke Kristiansson. Vejbystrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Vejbystrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Futsal the free kick. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Birger Hammarbäck hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Yevgen Kalashnikov sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Yevgen Kalashnikov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Åke Kristiansson. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yevgen Kalashnikov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 94th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Asplund to maneuver through the defense.
