Geovani Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. Agnaldo Marinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Rotariu could save by the left post. 10 minutes into the match, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Kluttig came free, but Giuseppe Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zvonimir Prestin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Middendorf, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Geovani Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of David Rotariu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Eger in the 34th minute of the match. David Rotariu was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Clóvis Alvarenga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clóvis Alvarenga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Alvarenga in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Geovani Barreto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Rotariu, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clóvis Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Moreto F.C. - Capivari booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Förster didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Alvarenga in the 59th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Moreto F.C. - Capivari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clóvis Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. César Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Agnaldo Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Moreto F.C. - Capivari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kimmich to maneuver through the defense. Geovani Barreto struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreto F.C. - Capivari. César Moreira took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Rotariu. David Rotariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the PoWer SC 2K5 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moreto F.C. - Capivari.
