The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ahmet Reha Pekel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Arruda having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 43rd minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witalis Brysz made a kick off.
